Breve storia della competizione
Il Campionato Europeo Piloti Turismo Super 1600, meglio conosciuto come ETCC Super 1600 (European Touring Car Cup) era una competizione automobilistica che si e' svolta dal 2007 fino al 2016 e veniva organizzato dalla FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile). Potevano partecipare a questa competizione solo vetture di serie. Il pilota che conquistava piu' punti nell'arco della stagione, vinceva il titolo di Campione Europeo Turismo Super 1600
